Websites for private coaches and trainers

A small site that says what you coach, who it suits, where sessions happen and how to book a lesson.

Small on purpose

A private coach rarely needs a big website. A tennis pro, a goalie coach, a hitting instructor, a swim coach or a personal trainer needs four or five clear pages and a booking path that works. Most coaches get their first contact through a referral, and the person then looks you up. The site's job at that moment is to confirm that you coach the right age and level, show where you work, and make booking easy.

Pages a coaching site needs

  • Home: what you coach, for which ages and levels, and a booking button
  • Lessons: private, semi-private, small group and clinics, with session length and what each covers
  • Locations: the courts, rinks, fields or gyms you use, with parking and entrance notes
  • About: your coaching background in your own words, kept to facts you're happy to publish
  • Book: your booking tool or a short intake form, plus cancellation and weather policies

Booking lessons

Many coaches already use a booking app, or a calendar with a booking page. We link to it from every page and style the site to match. If you don't use one yet, an intake form that asks for the athlete's age, level, goals and the times that suit them can be a better start, since it lets you sort out the right lesson before anyone picks a slot. The lesson board above shows the kind of week view we can build for clinics and open slots.

Coaching kids

If you coach young athletes, the person reading the site is a parent. They want to know where the session happens, whether they can watch, and how cancellations work. We put those answers on the lessons page, and the intake form asks for the parent's contact details instead of the child's.

Growing later

Coaches often add camps, clinics or a second coach after a season or two. We build the site so a new lesson type or a camp page is a quick addition, and so a camp can use the same registration form setup a club would.

Questions

Can I update lesson times myself?

Yes. Lesson types and open clinic times live in a simple editor, and your booking tool handles the individual slots.

Do I need my own domain?

It helps people find and remember you. If you don't have one, we can help you pick and register one in your own name.
